How to Measure Your Wrist for a Bracelet in 3 Easy Steps
Not sure what bracelet size to choose?
You can measure your wrist at home using just paper masking tape, scissors and a ruler.
Step 1: Wrap the Tape Around Your Wrist
Wrap the paper tape around the area where you normally wear your bracelet.
Keep it comfortably against your wrist without pulling it too tight, then cut the tape where it completes one full circle.
Step 2: Measure the Length
Lay the tape flat and measure it with a ruler.
If it measures 14 cm, your actual wrist circumference is approximately 14 cm.
You can also use a non-stretch piece of string or paper if you do not have masking tape.
Step 3: Add About 1 cm
As a simple starting point for a general chain bracelet, we suggest adding approximately 1 cm to your wrist measurement for a little extra movement and comfort.
For example:
14 cm wrist → start with approximately a 15 cm wearing length
If you prefer a closer fit, choose nearer to your wrist measurement. If you prefer a looser fit, allow a little more room.
One Thing to Remember
Your wrist measurement does not mean every bracelet should be exactly the same length.
Some bracelets have extension chains or adjustable sizing, so always compare your wrist measurement with the sizing details of the individual design.
Bracelet Size FAQ
What bracelet size should I choose for a 14 cm wrist?
Around 15 cm can be a useful starting point for a general chain bracelet, depending on the design and your preferred fit.
Should I pull the tape tightly?
No. Keep it against the wrist without squeezing the skin.
Can I measure without a flexible tape?
Yes. Paper tape, a strip of paper or non-stretch string all work.
Remember: Wrap, Measure, Add
Wrap your wrist → Measure the length → Add about 1 cm
Once you know your actual wrist circumference, choosing the right MONI bracelet size becomes much easier.
