How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home in 2 Easy Ways
One of the biggest questions when buying a ring online is:
“What ring size do I wear?”
With a simple ruler, you can take a quick measurement at home and compare it with a Ring Size Chart.
Here are two easy methods.
Method 1: Measure Your Finger Width
Place the finger you want to wear the ring on flat against a ruler.
Measure the widest area you need the ring to fit over, such as the base of the finger or the knuckle, and note the measurement in millimetres.
You can then use the sizing chart as a reference when choosing your ring size.
Method 2: Measure an Existing Ring
Already have a ring that fits comfortably?
Place it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter across the widest part of the ring.
Remember:
Measure the inside of the ring only—do not include the thickness of the metal band.
Use the inside diameter in millimetres to find the corresponding size on the Ring Size Chart.
Compare Your Measurement With a Ring Size Chart
Ring sizing systems vary between countries and regions.
You may see sizes listed as:
US/CA – United States and Canada
FR – France
HK – Hong Kong
So two different numbers can sometimes represent a similar ring size under different sizing systems.

Ring Size FAQ
